Money Bridge: From Where You Are to Where You Want to Be

Most readings ask the cards to tell you something. This one starts with you. You choose two cards by answering a few quick questions — one for where you are today, one for what you want — and the deck draws only the third: the bridge between them.

This 3-card tarot spread works like this:

Card 1: Who you are today — chosen by you
Card 2: What you want — chosen by you

How to Read Your Money Bridge

The first two cards are a mirror, not a prediction. They show how you see yourself and what you want, and that is useful even when a card looks harsh: a heavy card for “where you are” is honesty, not a verdict on your future. The third card, the bridge, is the only one the deck draws for you. Read it last and give it the most weight.

Card 1 — Who you are today

You chose it from your energy and your stage. Aces and Pages describe a beginning; the middle numbers describe building; the Fours, Fives and Nines describe being stuck or under pressure. If you picked a word instead, a Major Arcana card stands in for how you feel. Notice which suit it is: Pentacles are practical money matters, Cups are feelings, Wands are drive, Swords are thinking.

Card 2 — What you want

This is the card behind the goal you chose. Is it steadiness, freedom, recognition, craft or a new life? Seeing it as a card makes it easier to ask whether you truly want it or only think you should.

How close or far are the two cards?

When both cards belong to the same suit, you and your goal speak the same language and the gap is mostly one of stage and persistence. When they belong to different suits — thinking and money, say, or feeling and drive — the bridge has to translate one kind of energy into the other.

Card 3 — The bridge

The only drawn card. It is not a promise; it shows the kind of move that connects where you are to where you want to be. Swords point to a decision or a conversation; Wands to action and momentum; Cups to people and support; Pentacles to concrete work and patience; a Major Arcana card to a turning point.
